Texas Blue Bonnets

As a child, I can remember how much I loved the Summer, and how much I hated the Winter. Summer meant being outside, out of school, and having time to enjoy swimming, fun, and adventure. Winter meant being inside, in school, and having short cold days filled with homework. I can remember that the appearance of the blue bonnets outside were an indication that winter would soon be over, and that the fun of spring and summer would soon begin. Whenever I look at a picture like the one above, I am taken back to those wonderful times in Texas.
