John Bull Recruiting PosterThis is a poster showing John Bull pointing and addressing the viewer, with burning buildings and a line of soldiers with gaps in the background. It reads, "Who's absent? Is it you?" It was created in London by the Parliamentary Recruiting Committee, in about 1915. It is the British World War 1 equivalent to the famous Uncle Sam Wants You poster.
