Up | General Sheridan in the Civil War  The Poem, "Sheridan's Ride"

General Philip H. Sheridan was one of the Union's most celebrated commanders.  He was a cavalry officer, and perhaps more than any other Union Officer, he fought like a confederate.  He is noted for lighting like attacks, and numerous raids.  Below we present Civil War newspapers which feature General Sheridan.  Click on the Thumbnail to be taken to the complete newspaper.
