an 1863 Harper's Weekly newspaper.
This illustration is
classic Nast. Harper's Weekly had a number of War Illustrators during the
1860's, but none created images with the detail of Nast. It was Nast's
eye for detail that enables us to study images such as this one, and get a
clear picture of what it must have |
